My night face cream is close to empty. Not because it was amazing but because I can’t really afford throwing away full, new products. So naturally I was in the hunt for a new one. The whole web has been raving for quite some time about Kiehl’s ultra facial cream. The amazing reviews in addition to a pretty reasonable price tag made me check out the Kiehl’s booth.
The girl at the booth, Maria, was overly kind. After she introduced herself she asked me if I had some time to talk and to do a test in order to create a personalized skin care routine. Since I wasn’t in some kind of hurry I said yes. At first she talked about the company. How it was established in 1851 and how they use naturally-derived products to heal the skin and help it work as it should. After she applied two strips on my forehead and cheek she told me how moist and healthy my skin was (what kind of sorcery is this). Maria then proceeded to ask me what my skin struggles were. After she wrote all the information down in my newly created electronic file she presented me with a skin care routine she believed would best suit me. Since I only needed a cream and I hadn’t tried the brand I only opted for the cream and promised myself that if I am satisfied with the products I tried I would gradually switch my skincare products to the ones Maria suggested. I also got a magic elixir for my head’s dry skin. Last thing that impressed me is that if you take empty bottles back for recycling for 3 you get a lip balm, for 5 a deluxe sample and for ten a full size product from a specific list.
All in all I saw a brand that promotes natural products that are kind to the skin while considering the environment by using recycled packaging and rewarding people who recycle.

I’m obviously not a professional blogger but I do believe that everyone has something to offer. So here are my best blogging tips! Maybe you’ll get something out of them!
When starting a blog know what you want from it. If blogging is a way for you to vent and talk about things that interest you, you can be really laid back about it. On the other hand if you are hoping to someday make an income out of it you have to be a lot more focused and consistent.
Your blog’s content must be something you are passionate about. Something you’ll feel proud about once you hit that little update button. Don’t try to write about something that you believe people will like. It won’t work out.
Ok you have the great content. Now what? Most people will NOT click on your post if a photo doesn’t accompany it. We are visual creatures. Always make sure your blog has some great pictures. If you’ll only keep one thing from what I’m saying this is it!
Even if you are the greatest blogger in the whole universe if people can’t physically see your blog they cannot engage. Make sure your blog is out there. Comment, like and socialize on social media. Don’t forget though to be yourself. See other people as meaningful connections not just as another follower.
Choose a theme that represents you and is easy to navigate. The technicalities of running a blog are definitely hard but with time things will be sorted out. No one started from the top!
If people have to search for it they WONT click it. So make sure it has a pretty good spot on the layout of your blog.
Always listen to others. You might get something from them. When you read a successful blog don’t just look at it. See what they are talking about, how they are saying it and their layout. Everything should be a source of inspiration!
What I like to do is set a goal of new followers everyday. This should be adjusted to your blog’s needs. Mine right now is ten! Some days I get it and some I don’t but looking at my chart of follower goals helps me stay focused and inspired!

Especially during holidays pomegranate is something that’s probably laying around your house!! So what better way to make use of it rather than making a salad? This recipe is really easy to make and very good looking… ( Hey new Instagram picture). It’s really sweet and a really great idea for making when having people over. So let’s get started!
You will need:
For the Salad
Green Salad of your choice
Oranges (at least two)
As far as quantity is concerned the vinaigrette is enough for a huge bowl so decide accordingly.
For the Vinaigrette (we’re getting specific here so if you want to make less or more make sure the quantity of the ingredients is proportionate)
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Mix all of it separately and pour as much you need in the salad. You can skip or add ingredients and generally do what you like. But I can guarantee it will look cute af. And it’s healthy. I might be wrong but it’s a win win here. If you try it make sure to send me some pics!
By the way here’s how to cut an orange. I couldn’t do it but whatever. Next time maybe!!!
I recently started college, this being my second semester. My first few weeks I kept thinking how great it was that I had friends there who let me in on all the secrets and made my time so much easier. Consequently, this post is for all of you that don’t have friends in college or you’re just afraid to ask for advice.
Your first days you might feel like sitting in a corner not making eye contact with anyone. Don’t. Say hi. You are in the same school you do have things in common. It’s way easier to start a conversation!
Getting a name isn’t enough. Facebook, twitter, phone, mail etc. Always ask for contact information. When you’ll miss class and are in desperate need of notes you’ll be greatfull you kept their numbers.
Utilize your agenda
Whether it’s digital or not use your agenda for everything. Homework, meetings, parties. In college a ton of things are going on. You don’t want to miss out because you simply forgot.
Love your teachers
Ask questions, participate, go to their office. Even if you don’t actually need help. This interaction will help them remember you and make them more keen to give you a good grade.
As opposed to school college has more diversity. Ages, nationalities, beliefs. There are so many different people in college. This means that diversity is also more easily accepted. So if you wanted to do something but were afraid of judgement college is a great place to do it.
So that’s it for now. Let’s help each other out!Do you have any advice you could give me about surviving college? Let me know in the comments below.
For a lot of years fashion had a pretty specific type that was considered “pretty”. Unfortunately that type was far from reality. Discrimination and false idea of beauty is still a huge problem for the fashion industry but we have taken huge steps to the right direction. So here are my five favorite models!
Iskra Lawrence A stunning blonde that is not afraid to be goofy and kick the haters in the butt! Plus totally Instagram goals!
Winnie Harlow A gorgeous 21 year old that showed us beauty is everywhere. Even in a chronic skin condition!
Rebekah Marine A beautiful badass that needs to star in a sci-fi film ASAP! Can someone make it happen?
Madeline Stuart The cutest nineteen year old that puts the rest of us nineteen year olds to shame! ( Can sitting on my laptop be considered changing the world? No? Ok…)
Philomena Kwao Another stunning woman showing us that all sizes and colors are beautiful in their own unique way!

Since the beginning of Eurovision there have been talks, speculations and rumors about the fairness of the results. They might be true. Or not. But despite all of these Eurovision for me is something amazing. Here are the reasons why:
We get to hear amazing music that we never knew we liked.
Young and old artists, mainstream and unique have the chance to represent a major European country and introduce their work to people.
We get to find out about different cultures and get educated about each country’s traditions.
The fact that the show itself is live means that at this moment of time a whole lot of unique, different and amazing people are watching the EXACT same thing, which is kind of amazing.
As far as my home country is concerned (no 15 😉) Eurovision night is a big deal. People get together, order in and watch the show together. Friends cozying up on couches, pizza places running like crazy and every single person having an opinion on literally everything. It’s not perfect but it’s lovely!
So I love Eurovision and I hope it goes on for a long time. Do you watch it? How? Let me know in the comments below!
My boyfriend will be leaving the country next year for studies. Long distance is something that has come up. Is there anyone who has experienced long distance relationships? What are your thoughts? Advice? It sounds really hard. Please let me know in the comments below!
Most normal bloggers have to deal with crappy lighting and mediocre phone cameras. So do I! So people definitely ask me “how do you get semi presentable photos?” Unfortunately if you don’t own photography lights the only other chance for a good shot is natural lighting. So a sunny day is your best ally. But unless you want to look like a crazy person shooting a flat lay in the middle of the street you have to do it inside the house. You will need:
A big sunny window
A cute (preferably white ) blanket
A big surface
Set your blanket as your background on the area that the window is overlooking and use your phone to take the photos. Some editing and the photos are ready to be posted. If it works it’s not stupid!

Buying makeup can be so overwhelming. And if your a total beginner things can get ugly! So I hope to give you some ideas to create a whole makeup bag that can take you from day to night with easily applicable products!
General rule: When buying makeup for the first time stick to cheaper products until you find what you like and works best for you.
If you have a pretty clear face a BB cream is a must! If not go for a foundation with more coverage. I did not include a concealer and a primer because to me they don’t make a huge difference and you shouldn’t get overwhelmed by a huge amount of products.
What I suggest:
Garnier BB cream according to your skin type
Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation
Maybelline Super stay better skin powder
For cheeks the Estée Lauder signature powder blush no 19 is great because you can use it as a blush as well as a light bronzer.
For eye shadow stick to not as pigmented neutrals. The outcome will not be as strong but it will be extremely difficult to mess it up!
What I suggest:
Maybellne The Nudes pallete
Sticking to the same vibe go for a felt tip eyeliner as it is more easily applied! For a bolder look you can go over it with a liquid eyeliner.
What I suggest:
Sephora felt tip eyeliner, classic line
Seventeen mascara X-TRAOIRDINAIRE, black 01
Maybelline mascara Lash sensational
Lips: Rules always have exceptions! I would definitely splurge on a red lipstick because it’s a classic! Lastly a makeup bag is not complete without an everyday nude lipstick.
What I suggest:
Yves Saint Laurent rouge pur couture 35
Rimmel by Kate Moss 01
Koress guava 13 natural pink
